The only difference between the eVisitor Visa and ETA is the list of eligible countries. Both electronic travel authorizations are issued for the same traveling purposes, remain valid for the same period of time, and enable numerous 3-month stays in Australia.

Documents required for Australian online visa application are the same, no matter whether you apply for ETA or the eVisitor Visa. The only document necessary to successfully submit an online application form is a valid passport.
Please, however, bear in mind that your Slovenian passport cannot expire for the min. of 6 months from your intended arrival date in Australia.
You should also know that your eVistior Visa will be automatically linked to your passport once approved. You can save its digital copy on your mobile device and/or print it out.

What visa do I require to study in Australia?
Every Slovenian applicant with the purpose of short-term studies in Australia can apply for an eVisitor Visa.
Apart from business, leisure, or transit purposes, eVisitor also covers study purposes. However, its holder can study or train for a maximum of 3 months in Australia.
If you wish to study in Australia full-time, you should best consider applying for a student visa subclass 500.
As a holder of a student visa, you can participate in a study course, travel in and out of Australia, and work temporarily unlimited hours in whatever sector.
A visa subclass 500 allows studying in Australia for up to 5 years. The length and type of study course determine the exact duration of time for which the visa is granted.
What visa can I use to work officially in Australia?
Australia has implemented a program called the “Working Holiday Program” that inspires cultural exchange and closer links between various selected countries in the world.
This permits young people between 18-30 years to be granted a few extra months of holiday accompanied by temporary job employment.
Any Slovenian national may apply for a (Subclass 462) Work and Holiday visa to take up employment in Australia and combine it with traveling and exploring the country’s tourist attractions.
